Carmel leads academic learning and teaching across the secondary campuses. She believes that learning experiences occur in all aspects of school life, and that successful schools foster student agency and establish mindsets for ongoing personal and academic growth. Carmel is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of a high-quality Ivanhoe Curriculum encompassing broad learning outcomes to ensure that our students are ready for success in their future world. She leads academic staff across our School in the exploration, sharing and implementation of quality teaching practices, new pedagogy and innovative modes of learning.
