“Blending” is what Mark does best. His strengths, passions and extensive experience working in various areas of medicine, research, business and the NFP sector has lead him to his current role as  Program Director – Global Action Plan at the Movember Foundation.
Randal Marsh - Exceptional Alumni
Internationally acclaimed architect, Randal formed his practice Wood Marsh in 1983 after graduating with first class honors. Winner of 28 awards for outstanding architecture. Major buildings include the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA), Deakin University, Eastern Freeway, Tower V Docklands and the Mansion Hotel.

 

Mark Squirrell - Exceptional Alumni
From car bombings to meeting Yasser Arafat and making it to the summit of Mount Everest, Mark ‘Squiz’ Squirrell has experienced more than many can dream about. His aid work has taken him to countries such as Sudan, Palestine and Afghanistan where he met child soldiers, negotiated with rebels and narrowly escaped imprisonment.
Paralympian and sports mentor, Sam broke the 100m Butterfly world record at the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games at the age of 16. In 2009 Sam was awarded with the Order of Australia Medal for services to his country and for being a role model for his younger team mates. Sam currently works within the sports industry as well as making regular speaking appearances. 
Andreana Reale - Exceptional Alumni
A writer who manages fundraising for Urban Seed – a local community development organisation based out of Collins Street Baptist Church, which walks alongside people experiencing homelessness and other marginalisation. www.urbanseed.org

 

 

 

Nicholas Pang - Exceptional Alumni
Previously a corporate restructuring specialist, Nick now owns and manages Temple Brewery –a craft beer brewing business in Brunswick East. Nick also manages a gym in Eltham, is a mentor and personal trainer. He sponsors contemporary Asian Art through the Wheelers Centre. www.templebrewing.com.au
Tony Clifton - Exceptional Alumni
Published author and celebrated war correspondent of forty years. Lived and worked all over the world, and in that time, talked to various grandees from Margaret Thatcher, Benazir Bhutto and Indira Gandhi to Yasser Arafat, Saddam Hussein and the Dalai Lama. www.smh.com.au/lunchwithtonyclifton
Derek Welton - Exceptional Alumni
Opera Singer. A graduate of the University of Melbourne, where he studied Linguistics and German, and of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, bass-baritone Derek Welton has performed in many of Europe’s great opera houses and concert halls in repertoire ranging from Bach to Wagner and Richard Strauss. www.derekwelton.com

 

Andy McKeon - Exceptional Alumni
Andy is the Global Marketing Lead at Facebook and Instagram. The Australian advertising creative 'checked-in' almost two years ago as global customer marketing lead. He instructs brands how to leverage their influence using the Facebook site. He says his job helps bridge the gap between what clients want and what Facebook’s engineering teams are building.

From International Student to International Business Broker, Property Development Manager, Specialised Business Interpreter, innovative Marketer and Hotel architect, Tick’s entrepreneurial ways and savvy business sense has seen her forge a career most would dream of.  And, despite all her career achievements and demands, Tick still makes time for Ivanhoe, to whom she credits much of her success.

Comfortable taking the road-less-travelled, this edgy Freelance music journalist (for BEAT and Stack Magazines), with a palpable passion for music and the arts, saw Emily become co-owner of a boutique PR and Communications Company, Deathproof PR in 2011. 

The first of his kind to receive an award William has been the Managing Director of Goddess International Limited for 21 years, Managing Director and Brand Owner of Betta Slippers for 13 years, Founding CEO of Italian Fashion Galleria, China and the list goes on! Chris Kamen (‘01)
Chris Kamen is a filmmaker. He has produced a variety of projects such as documentaries, short films, music videos and TV commercials. His latest project is a documentary about the tiny house movement, currently on a screening tour of the USA and Australia, and releasing online April 30 at smallisbeautifulmovie.com

James is a composer and co-founder of music production company Kudu Sounds (www.ku-du.com). In recent years, he has written original music for a range of projects including: TV commercials, documentaries, short films, fashion shows, film festivals and live theatre.
