Meet our teachers
Miss Holly has danced since the age of three in ballet, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, pom and hip hop. Since 2019 she has competed in All Star Competitions in pom, lyrical and jazz. Her team has placed first each year for the past five years in the National Championships since 2019. Miss Holly has also been invited to compete in the IASF World Dance Championships in Florida. Holly currently dances for the Monash University Dance team. | |
Miss Jacqui started dancing at the young age of 2 as a baby tot. She still dances competitively and for fun. Jacqui is currently in her second year at Transit Dance working towards her Certificate 4 in Dance Teaching and Management. Jacqui is passionate, engaging and can’t wait to showcase her knowledge to all the young inspiring dancers to have fun, learn correct technique and enjoy the world of dance. | |
Miss Bronte is currently in her second year of a Diploma of Dance and Musical Theatre with Kelly Aykers. With a passion for performing since the age of 5, Bronte brings a wealth of experience and a versatile skill set encompassing various dance styles. Energetic and dedicated, she is committed to sharing her love for dance with students of all ages. | |
Katrina Gevaux is the Manager of Ivanhoe Dance. Katrina has always been passionate about dance, and has been involved in dance for many years, with her daughter, Miss Jacqui, being involved in dance since a baby tot. Katrina has extensive experience in running learn-to programs. As well as the Manager of Ivanhoe Dance, she is the Aquatics Manager for Ivanhoe Grammar School and oversees all aspects of running our learn-to-swim program, swim squad and managing the swimming pool facilities. Katrina is responsible for all aspects of Ivanhoe Dance and is passionate about anyone having the opportunity to experience the joy of dancing. |
