Amber is an enthusiastic senior leader focused on investing in positive relationships with staff, students, and families. She is passionate about leading a community that has proactive partnerships between parents and the school, and she is committed to cultivating a culture whereby courage, independence and critical thinking are at the centre of the student learning experience.

Amber has a breadth of teaching and leadership experience in both the United Kingdom and Australia. Before being appointed as the Deputy Principal and Head of Ridgeway Campus, Amber fulfilled the role of Acting Deputy Principal and Dean of Students at Strathcona Girls Grammar in Canterbury. She also fulfilled the role of Head of Department, Head of Year 12 and VCE Coordinator at Yarra Valley Grammar School in Ringwood during her eight years at the school. Amber joins Ivanhoe having led several strategic projects in student and staff wellbeing and teaching and learning. She is dedicated to ensuring that all students can nurture their strengths, be supported in their growth and become positive global citizens.
