Victorian Interschool Equestrian Series Grand Final
The Grand Final of the Victorian Interschool Equestrian Series was held at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre on Saturday 2 August and Sunday 3 August.
Over 180 riders competed in the Show Jumping and 126 in the Dressage from 106 different Schools throughout Victoria. The series was held over the past 12 months and included over 1,000 riders from 224 Schools. Students had to compete throughout the year to qualify for this prestigious event.
Ivanhoe was represented by Michaela Bray, Jessica Grant, Clancy Grant, Edward Darby and Lily Dobson. Edward Darby placed First and Fourth in the Show Jumping, Clancy Grant placed Fourth and Sixth in the Dressage, and Jess Grant placed Third in the Dressage.
Jess Grant also won the Championship for her section in the Show Jumping and was awarded the Grand Champion of this level for the whole Series. Michaela Bray has been undefeated at Medium Level dressage, won the Championship and was awarded the Grand Champion for the Series.
Congratulations to both of these riders who will join other Ivanhoe Grammar School riders to represent Victoria in the National Championship in September.
