State Primary School Athletics Championships 2016
On Monday 24 October Buckley House was represented by four athletes at the State Athletics Championships held at the State Athletics track in Albert Park.
The students ranging from years 4-6 had already competed and been victorious at four previous levels (School, District, Division and Region) to make it to this prestigious event.
Medals and Top three results were hard to come by at this tough event, however all athletes competed brilliantly equally or beating their personal best.
Results were:
Nelly Tragardh 8th in U10G 800m – New PB
Tyson Nagel 6th in U10B 800m – New PB
Tyson Nagel 8th in U10B 1500m – New PB
Alana Edgley – 9th in Hurdles just missed qualifying for final by one place
Athan McLaughlin – 10th in 12B Discus -equalled PB
