Boys 1st XVIII and Hockey get their seasons off and running. After a defeat in Round 1, our Boys’ 1st XVIII was keen to make amends against Peninsula Grammar, and despite having only a narrow margin at half time, they were able to extend this lead to 27 by the end of the match. Charlie Simonsen was dominant up forward and he had good support from Nicholas Cox and Nathan Howard.

After a slow start, our Boys’ Hockey Team proved to be dominant in their match against Marcellin College, winning 12-3. Will Rutley, Thomas Brightling, Tom Meadon and Fraser Asquith were all great leaders and paved the way for everyone to be involved. It was a great way to start the season!

Our Girls Soccer Team also recorded their 2nd win of the season. Despite a slow start to the game, the girls turned it around quickly with renewed energy and a hunger for the ball. Kristie Kriaris-Tsotras’s and Sasha Nikolovski led the way with notable performances, and the Mandritis sisters (Desiree and Caroline) were terrific contributors. Also, Pam Athanasakis’s great sportsmanship was notable.
