Shakedown Dance Concert
The 2024 Shakedown Concert was a huge success, bringing together students and staff from all corners of the school to celebrate their passion for dance while raising funds for the Beyond Blue Foundation.
“Shakedown is a dance concert that started at Plenty Campus in 2019. My mission with this concert is to create a dynamic and exhilarating event that brings together dancers, musicians, and audiences for a high-energy celebration of dance. Held annually, this concert features an array of performances, ranging from contemporary dance and hip-hop to lyrical and traditional dances. Each year, the event showcases the talents of both current and alumni students at Ivanhoe Grammar School, creating a vibrant platform for creative expression,” said staff member Michael Callegari.
Audiences of Shakedown are treated to a stunning auditory feast, as performers push the boundaries and create everlasting memories. The concert is known for its innovative and captivating choreography, and engaging music selections, all contributing to an immersive and unforgettable experience.
