Next Deputy Principal Announced
Following an extensive search in Australia and New Zealand, Mr Brendan Kelly has been appointed as the new Deputy Principal/Head of The Ridgeway Campus, effective from January 2016.
Brendan’s vision, obvious care for students and his focus on improving learning outcomes was clearly evident during the interview process.
Brendan is currently employed at the Kristin School in Auckland as Principal of the Senior School. In this role he has introduced an extremely successful ‘Futures’ Program (an academic mentoring program), overseen improved academic results, introduced a new service leadership model and totally revamped the pastoral program to cater for all students.
Previously, Brendan has held numerous leadership roles across Australia and New Zealand including Campus Principal at Springfield Anglican College in Brisbane, Acting Head at Forest Lake College in Brisbane and Deputy/Associate Principal at Paraparaumu College in Wellington.
Brendan’s strong alignment with the direction and values of the School, his wealth of experience in coeducational settings and his clear interest in academia, service learning, internationalism and leadership make him well-equipped to further advance Ivanhoe’s educational program.
