Netball, Football and Soccer have great wins
Ivanhoe’s netballers continued their winning streak, fighting to the very end to beat a determined Caulfield Grammar School by just five points. This keeps the girls on top of the ladder with four games to go.
Ivanhoe’s footballers went to the top of the football ladder following a convincing win against arch rival Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School (PEGS). From the very start, all the boys exerted enormous pressure on their opponents with Lachlan Murphy setting a great example with some clever field play and terrific defensive work. The win puts the team into a commanding position on the ladder with a semi-final position now assured.
The boys’ soccer team has assured its spot in the semi-final with a convincing win over Yarra Valley. Cameron Di Ciocco led the way with three goals. And the School’s boys’ rugby team recorded their second win of the season with a commanding victory.
