More Than Words Concert
The More Than Words Concert, a vocal music feature on the School calendar was held on Wednesday 20 July at Buckley Hall. It was a wonderful performance for vocalists and choirs from Years 7-12 from The Ridgeway Campus.
This year we were delighted to have musician Emma Gilmartin an established performer and educator facilitate vocal workshops prior to the performance.
Our talented vocalists had a wonderful opportunity to perform varied and diverse repertoire on stage. With most of the songs contemporary popular style, our pianist extraordinaire Mark Fitzgibbon was an amazing support for the vocalists.
Included in the concert Ridgeway Chorale and Locksley Singers performed together a heartfelt rendition of ‘Sunday’ by Sondheim.
The evening was a celebration of singing and a terrific night of music-making.
