Kyle plays first game with the AFL
On Sunday 3 May, Kyle Langford (‘14) played his first game of AFL with Essendon. Kyle was a significant contributor in sport whilst at the School. He not only captained the School Football team, but he was also an important member of our Cricket and Athletic teams. Interestingly, if Kyle had not hit the post with his very first kick, he would have become the fourth Ivanhoe boy to kick a goal with his first kick in League football. The others include Sam Grimley (’09) who plays for Hawthorn, Dylan Buckley (’11) who plays for Carlton and Ben Lennon (’13) who plays for Richmond.
We would like to wish Kyle the best for his future with the Essendon Football Club.
