Kyle Langford Drafted
For the second year in succession, an Ivanhoe student has been selected in the first round of the AFL draft. In 2013 Ben Lennon was drafted by Richmond and this year, Kyle Langford has been drafted at selection 17 by Essendon.
Kyle, who captained the Ivanhoe Firsts XVIII team this season, has been a valuable member of the School team since his debut in Year 10. He has also been a terrific contributor with the Firsts XI and an important member of the School Athletics team.
Kyle has been a true 'all rounder' and his input to the entire sporting program at the School has been exemplary.
We wish Kyle all the best as he embarks on his professional sporting career.
