Junior Netballers through to State Championships
On Monday 10 August, our junior Netballers played in the qualifying rounds for the Netball Victoria Schools Championships. Twenty seven teams competed and only three could eventually make the Finals (which will be held in September). After 7 pulsating games, it came down to the last game when the girls had to win to advance…and they did so by just one goal!
The girls represented the School with determination and passion, hunting down every ball and taking every chance they could. This was an amazing team effort and topped off a couple of successful weeks for our Head Coach, Julie Hibberd.
Congratulations to the following students who represented the team magnificently: Aysha, Isobel, Milla, Demi, Alice, Lulu, Sarah, Elly and Sophia.
