Ivanhoe Grammar School Shines in Moana JR. Musical Production
On Friday 1 November, the Primary Years students from Plenty Campus transported audiences to the vibrant world of Moana JR., with two captivating performances – a matinee and an evening show. This year’s production, held at Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre (PRACC), showcased not only the exceptional talent of our students but also their dedication and hard work that brought the enchanting story of Moana, Maui, and their island adventures to life.
From the first note to the final bow, students across all year levels gave outstanding performances, leaving audiences captivated by their lively and heartfelt rendition of Moana JR. The lead cast members impressed with their vocal talents and emotional portrayals, embodying the courage and spirit of the beloved characters. From the youngest performers to the most seasoned, each student’s commitment and enthusiasm radiated throughout the performances, earning cheers and applause.
Congratulations to Mrs Green for her inspiring leadership and vision, and a heartfelt thank you to all the students, parents, and volunteer working parties who contributed their time and talents behind the scenes. Every costume, set piece, and lighting cue was a testament to the dedication of our school community, who came together to make this production possible.
Our Moana JR. production not only displayed the creativity and talent of our students but also embodied the essence of community, collaboration, and passion. It was an unforgettable experience for all, and we look forward to seeing more of our students’ talents in future performances!
