Interschool Aerobic Gymnastics Competition
On Friday 26 August the Interschool Aerobic Gymnastics competition was held at Melbourne Girls’ College in Richmond. The Ivanhoe Team was highly successful winning six gold and three bronze medals.
This was a truly amazing feat and testament to the skill and dedication of the competitors.
It was a great opportunity for the squad to perform in front of a qualified panel of judges and gain valuable feedback on all aspects of their routines. This feedback will be used to further refine skills, compulsories and the routines for the upcoming National Championships in Bendigo mid-September. The Aerobics program at Ivanhoe Grammar School continues to be popular and produces highly successful teams.
The aim of the School’s sporting program is to:
• Assist each student’s growth through the discovery of their talents
• Encourage students to contribute to the School community
• Facilitate strong staff- student relationships outside the classroom
We wish the girls all the success for the National Championships that will be held in Bendigo in mid-September.
