International School Student Welcome Event
The Victorian Government formally welcomed international school students to the state at the International School Student Welcome Event on Wednesday 11 March at Victoria’s most prestigious residence Government House.
His Excellency, the Honourable Alex Chernov AC QC, Governor of Victoria and Mrs Chernov along with the Deputy Premier of Victoria and Minister for Education James Merlino warmly welcomed school students from all school sectors.
ELICOS students, Jenny Chen, Wency Zhang, John Xu and Bont Xu attended the event and at the conclusion of the formal proceedings enjoyed mingling with other international students at the morning tea in the specially prepared rooms and beautiful gardens of Government House.
