International Baccalaureate Results – The Story is Now Complete
In 2024, a record number of Year 12 students at Ivanhoe Grammar School pursued the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) program, achieving outstanding results. Congratulations to all IB students, particularly Alana Edgley our IB Dux, who achieved an exceptional ATAR of 99.5, placing her in the top 0.5% of the State.
Highlights of the IB results include:
- 18 students achieved an ATAR of 95+ (top 5%)
- 36 students achieved an ATAR of 90+ (top 10%)
- 81% attained an ATAR above 80
- Median ATAR is an impressive: 90.25
Congratulations to all our students from both campuses, as we achieved on a consolidated basis (VCE and IB):
- 18 students attained an ATAR of 98 or more (top 2% of the State)
- 52 students achieved an ATAR of 95 or more (top 5% of the State)
- one in four students achieved an ATAR over 93 (top 7% of the State)
- 105 students attained an ATAR over 90 (top 10% of the State)
- 58% achieved an ATAR of 80 or above (top 20% of the State)
- 85.3 is the Median ATAR for our students
- 71 combined perfect VCE subject scores and IB grades of 7 (highest possible grade).
Special congratulations to School Dux Tom Starkey (ATAR 99.8, Ridgeway Campus) and Plenty Campus Dux Sanat Sahrawat (ATAR 99.5).
These results highlight the dedication and talent of our students and the exceptional support of our teaching staff. As an open-entry school, we celebrate the personal bests of every student and the character they have shown throughout their journey.
