International Baccalaureate Diploma Award Ceremony
The Annual International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) Awards Ceremony was held at Deakin Edge, Federation Square on Wednesday 24 February. The Ceremony is held in recognition of outstanding achievement in the International Baccalaureate Diploma program. Certificates of Distinction were awarded to graduates who gained a score of 40 points or more.
Class of 2015 student and the Dux of the IB Diploma, Tara Tigani was presented with a certificate of Distinction at the Ceremony, achieving a score of 42. Tara also achieved three Perfect Subject Scores in Biology, History and Chemistry. Tara has been offered a place in the Bachelor of Pharmecutical Science Advanced (Honours) at Monash University.
The IB Diploma embraces a global perspective and is a qualification that is internationally recognised. Students at The Ridgeway Campus are provided with the opportunity to study the IB Diploma Program as an alternative to the VCE.
