Friends of Ridgeway Music
Ivanhoe Grammar School has an active parent community who volunteer their time, energy and expertise to different areas of the School. They are a valued and vital part of life at Ivanhoe.
Friends of Ridgeway Music (FoRM) support music at The Ridgeway Campus. The parent group provide logistic and capital support for music events and the School’s very successful Ensembles Program, including the purchase of musical instruments and subsidising workshops for students.
During 2019 FoRM held many memorable activities such as the annual Jazz Night which is held each year in August. The event featured the ever-entertaining Wilbur Wilde on Saxophone alongside Mark Fitzgibbon on keyboard and Jordan Torento on double bass at Barr’d Tapas Bar in East Ivanhoe Village. The evening was very enjoyable and a wonderful night out with many parents in attendance.
Recently, on Monday 10 February FoRM held a welcome sausage sizzle for students and music staff. An exciting event coming up in 2020 is the annual Parent Welcome Function on Monday 23 March.

New Role
FoRM is looking for a secretary. The role requires a minimal time commitment, preparing an agenda for committee meetings, taking minutes at committee meetings and typing minutes for circulation.
