Celebrating the Class of 2023 – VCE Results
The character of our recent graduates, the young people who completed their secondary school journey in 2023, is not defined by their academic achievements alone. It is a mixture of what they have attained academically, alongside their co-curricular accomplishments, and how they have embodied in their lives the attributes associated with moral, civic and performance character.
Today we celebrate our VCE graduates’ academic results. They have studied diligently and shown great commitment. In doing so, our 2023 VCE graduates have produced a strong set of academic results, which include one-third of the cohort receiving an ATAR of 90+, placing them in the top 10% of the State.
Although we acknowledge all our students for achieving their best, we would like to recognise our VCE Duces with exceptional ATARs. Congratulations to Johnny Chen from Ivanhoe Campus with an ATAR of 99.95. Johnny is one of only 39 students in the State to achieve a perfect score. Big congratulations also to our Plenty Campus Dux, Avriel Das with an ATAR of 99.4.
Our Year 12 students who completed their International Baccalaureate (IB), are still awaiting their results. These are to be released on 4 January 2024. The combination of these, alongside those released today, will provide a complete picture of the academic success of our 2023 graduates. We will celebrate the complete Year 12 results of the Class of 2023, once the IB results are published.
There are many possibilities for these young global citizens, and the School joins parents, family and friends of our VCE graduates in wishing them well in their future endeavours.
Our teachers and other staff continue to be available to graduates who would like to discuss their future options, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff and families for their unwavering support during the year, always encouraging our VCE students to achieve their best.
We look forward to congratulating our International Baccalaureate graduates in January and sharing our combined results for the Class of 2023.
