Calvin Ang Library Collection
On Friday 6 May the Ang family, together with past staff visited the Marjorie Gregory Library at Ivanhoe Grammar School.
Head of Buckley House, Russell Feben, and Librarian, Anna Consiglio, welcomed back to the School the Doctors’ Ang to view the Library Collection that they had established in Calvin’s memory after his tragic passing back in 1985. Joining them were Wendy Fishley and Brenda Lyon both former staff members who taught and knew Calvin well.
In the thirty years since its creation, and with the consistent financial support of the Ang’s, the Collection has now grown to over 350 books. Housed in the Marjorie Gregory Library there is no doubt that this tangible gift to Buckley House has given much pleasure to the hundreds of girls and boys who have had access to the Collection over the years.
