Board of Governors Cocktail Party
Hosted by the Chairman of the Board of Governors, Mr Peter Kempen, the event was attended by four hundred current and past staff, including former Headmaster the Reverend Charles Sligo along with wife Betty, to acknowledge their contribution over the many years to the School.
The event was held in the refurbished Buckley Hall and upon arrival, guests enjoyed a variety of drinks and canapés provided by Ivanhoe alumni Mark Longmuir (‘84) of Spitting Image Catering. From here the guests moved into the Hall and Principal Rod Fraser introduced the Chairman to welcome guests and begin the evening’s formalities, which included a toast to the School by Board of Governors member Daniel Proietto (‘96).
The evening provided the perfect opportunity for staff to mingle as well as catch up with old friends and reminisce about their time at Ivanhoe Grammar School.
