Athletics Carnival
The athletics carnival was held at Meadowglen Athletics Track and students and staff embraced the house spirit proudly displaying their house colours in creative and interesting costumes.
This year, the competition saw some wonderful performances from students in all houses but at the end of the day it was Athelstane who won and secured the house athletics trophy. Secondary students participated in a myriad of activities such as the long jump, high jump, discus and the relay to name just a few.
Ivanhoe Grammar School has a thriving house program that caters for students of all abilities and has a special emphasis on participation and having fun. It fosters friendships across year levels and a full program of activities over the course of the year gives students a balance with their rigorous academic studies.
A big thank you to all involved who worked tirelessly leading up to this event and congratulations to Athelstane House.
