ACEL Fellowship Award
The National Awards Committee of the Australian Council for Educational Leaders has awarded Mrs Deb Sukarna, Head of Plenty Campus, a prestigious ACEL Fellowship.
ACEL Fellowships are conferred on those who possess high level leadership skills, an ability to inspire and influence and to creatively implement change. Also noted for Fellowship Awards are those who have made a significant contribution to the practice and/or theory of educational leadership within their workplace at a national or international level. These are all attributes which we see on a daily basis from Deb Sukarna.
The award will be presented as part of the ACEL National Conference in October this year.
This award, combined with the prestigious Hedley Beare Educator of the Year Award that Deb Sukarna was presented with in 2011 is due recognition for her professionalism, drive and impact on classroom practice through good planning, demonstration and professional development.
This significant award is excellent tribute to Deb Sukarna. Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!
