2024 Years 7-11 Art & Design Exhibition
At the close of Term 3, ArtsEdge at Locksley was transformed into a dynamic exhibition space, showcasing the creativity and talent of our students. The Years 7-11 Art and Design Exhibition officially opened on Wednesday, 11 September, featuring a diverse array of innovative and captivating works from the fields of Art, Media, Product Design and Technology, and Visual Communication Design.
The event was opened by Daniela Scaramuzzino, a practising artist known for her unique style and versatility across various media forms, including her sculptural approach to cake decorating. Daniela has been an invaluable resource to both our staff and students, offering expert advice on techniques, materials, and processes. Her involvement has also been crucial in establishing the Eckersleys Art & Design awards at Ivanhoe Grammar School, for which we are deeply grateful for her unwavering support.
This year Lana, a Year 11 student, was the proud recipient of the Old Ivanhoe Grammarians’ Association Encouragement Award in Arts.
The Eckersley’s Art and Design awards were presented by Daniela Scaramuzzino and included:

Departmental excellence and special recognition awards were also presented to students from each of the Years 7 to 11 Art and Design classes.
