2019 Graduate Art and Design Exhibition

The Ridgeway Campus VCE and IB Art and Design Exhibition opened on Friday 11 October at ArtsEdge and featured truly exceptional work from our students. The gallery and studio spaces were filled with a celebratory atmosphere as students, family, friends and staff viewed the graduating work of Studio Arts, Product Design & Technology and Visual Communication Design students. We would like to congratulate all of the exhibitors and a special acknowledgement and thanks to their parents and staff, who have supported them during the creative process.

The exhibition was officially opened by Randal Marsh (Class of 1977). Randal spoke highly of the work that our students completed and complimented them on the concepts behind their work, their technical skills and volume of work completed.

During the evening, the winners of the Randal Marsh Award and the Acquisition Award were announced. As well as the Randal Marsh Awards, the Centenary Product Design & Technology Award was announced as well as prizes from Eckersley’s Art & Craft. These awards are the most prestigious artistic prizes and are a way of encouraging and developing student talent in Art and Design at Ivanhoe Grammar School.
