2015 International Baccalaureate Visual Arts Exhibition
Ivanhoe Grammar School is pleased to announce that two art works by Class of 2014 alumni Xin Yi (Ivy) Ma have been selected to be included in the 2015 Annual Victorian and Tasmanian International Baccalaureate Diploma World Schools' Visual Arts Exhibition.
Over the course of IB Visual Arts, students are required to produce a portfolio of studio work as well as an investigation workbook, which is based upon a theme of the students own choosing. Selected pieces of graduate artwork are then displayed at the annual exhibition. The work exhibited will provide visitors with an understanding of the various approaches and the diverse work produced in this unique study. Contemporary digital media, installations, sculpture, photography, painting, textiles, drawing and printmaking will be included.
This not only celebrates the achievements of Ivy as an IB Visual Arts student but also the significant profile our international students have within our School community.
