Ivanhoe Edge AFL School Holiday Clinic

The first Ivanhoe Edge AFL School Holiday Clinic ran during the Term 1 holidays from Tuesday 9 April to Wednesday 10 April. This sold-out clinic included a Junior Clinic for 8-12 year-olds and a Teen Clinic for 13-16 year-olds. Participants made the most of the pre-season footy training focusing on skill development, strength, and conditioning, alongside some gameplay for match readiness. The successful school holiday program brought together over 50 passionate participants for two days of skill-building and fun. From perfecting tackles to mastering kicks, our players dove headfirst into the world of AFL under the guidance of coaches Matt Kreuzer, Sam Allen, and Nic Graham.

Despite the inclement weather, the smiles never faded as our eager participants took on each drill with enthusiasm. Whether it was honing their handballing techniques or making split-second decisions under pressure, every moment was filled with excitement and growth.

Ivanhoe Edge is an innovative and unique program offering one-to-one and small-group coaching, conditioning, and development. It is designed to take students even further on their performing arts and/or sports journey to enhance their skills or achieve a goal.
