The Head of University Campus, Stella Batsanis, is pleased to offer secondary boys and their fathers, guardians or close male relatives the opportunity to attend a Wellbeing Forum presented by The Man Cave on Wednesday 28 August from 7.00pm - 8.30pm at the Western Lecture Theatre 1, La Trobe University. This special forum is open to all secondary boys from across the School. All are welcome to attend.
The Man Cave is a preventative mental health and emotional intelligence program for boys, young men, parents and teachers.
Specifically, their workshops operate through a positive – psychology lens and focus on these key areas:
- Understanding the vital role parents play in creating a safe space where boys can thrive
- Helping young men navigate the challenges of high school
- How to communicate with boys to get the best outcomes for them
- How to help boys effectively transition from boyhood to manhood.
