Scholarships

A number of scholarships are available to students who demonstrate academic potential or dedication to a particular field. These opportunities are made possible by the generous support of our community, including staff and alumni.

Senior Years Scholarship

The Senior Years Scholarship is offered for students wishing to undertake the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or International Baccalaureate (IB)* for entry into Year 10, 11 or 12 in 2020. Please note this scholarship opportunity is not open to currently enrolled Ivanhoe Grammar School students. Applications close 5.00pm Friday 30 August 2019.

The application process requires you to download and complete the Senior Years Scholarship Application Form (hard copy only - an electronic copy will not be accepted). Please note that shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an interview at the School.

*Please note the IB is only offered at the Ivanhoe Campus

Academic Scholarships for entry into Year 7 or 10 in 2021

Applications are now open to current Ivanhoe Grammar School students and new students interested in an Ivanhoe education. Students sit an examination which will assess thinking and comprehension skills, problem solving and reasoning. Successful applicants will be awarded remission of up to 50 per cent reduction of tuition fees.

General Excellence Awards for entry into Year 7 or 10

Applications for entry in 2020 are now closed. Applications for 2021 open in mid-November 2019.

The General Excellence Award is offered to a student with high academic potential, demonstrated leadership skills, recognised citizenship qualities and a particular talent in one or more of the following extra-curricular areas: visual arts, music, performing arts or sports.

The application process includes an interview and a referee. The Scholar will receive 50 per cent tuition fee remission for Years 7 to 12 if awarded in Year 7 or Years 10 to 12 if awarded in Year 10.
