Library Technician
Read MoreWe are actively seeking an experienced Library Technician at our Plenty Campus in Doreen on an ongoing part-time basis. Working 30.5 hours per week Monday – Thursday, this role is in receipt of school holiday leave and is an opportunity to join a highly skilled team.
As a key member of a small Library team, the Library Technician requires the essential knowledge, experience and expertise to lead the provision of information services and learning resources to students and staff at Plenty Campus. The Library Technician promotes a positive, welcoming and dynamic environment in the library, where students and staff are stimulated by a creative and productive space.
About you
- The preferred candidate will hold a Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Services or Certificate IV in Library and Information Services or equivalent
- You must have a current and valid employee Working with Children Check
- You will have demonstrated experience and commitment to patron-focused library and information services ideally across both primary and secondary school. With a strong preference for secondary school experience
- Hold the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective planning and organisational skills including time management
- Be able to demonstrate fluency in ICT skills including Accessit, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, OneNote
- Have a commitment to the provision of a supportive environment that encourages the personal and academic development of each student
- A desire to meet new challenges and develop professional knowledge by being an active member of the profession
- Ability to produce marketing and merchandising material to publicise the library to patrons

Music Tutor

We are currently seeking qualified Music Tutors based at our Ivanhoe campus. These roles are casual, and the hours of work may vary from week to week and will include before and after school. There is the potential for additional hours of work as the student numbers increase.
- Piano tutor and accompanist working across 1-2 days (with the ability to accompany students for VCE)
- Clarinet and Saxophone tutor working across 1-2 days, (with the ability to prepare students for VCE)
About you
- Be an experienced tutor, with advanced skills
- You will hold relevant Tertiary music qualifications
- Have a vibrant and inspiring personality with the ability to engage and inspire primary students
- Hold high level organisation skills
- Will be flexible and will accommodate extra events as they arise
- Can work as a part of a team as well as independently, within a busy and creative music department

School Psychologist

Working Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm this is a rare opportunity join the Ivanhoe Campus. As part of the team of School Psychologists we are seeking candidates that are willing to work at Primary and Year 9 campuses as required.
The School Psychologist will provide child and adolescent psychological services to students and families at our Ivanhoe Campus. This role will assist facilitate access, participation and maximise educational outcomes for the School’s students, and utilise psychological expertise in education and learning to support and build the capacity of the School community toward these goals.
The responsibilities will include undertaking educational and psychological assessments and diagnoses in all areas of child and adolescent development. Providing psychological counselling, therapy and programs for individual students from Year 7 to Year 12 as well as student groups for a range of mental health, emotional and family issues.
About you
- You will hold a post graduate qualifications in psychology (or equivalent qualification), preferably with an education & developmental focus
- Have full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia which under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Be able to demonstrate high level interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to consult, counsel and liaise with a wide range of people from culturally diverse backgrounds
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively monitor and coordinate a workload that may consist of multiple tasks of varying priorities
