Our young people of character have yet again performed exceptionally well and have shown us that doing your best and working with others not only builds self-confidence but also sets you up for life.
We asked our three duces what makes a young person of character and this is what they had to say.
Sync Liu – School Dux and International Baccalaureate (IB) Dux
To quote Mencius: ‘We change and grow only when we make mistakes. We realise what to do only when we work through worry and confusion. And we gain people’s trust ad understanding only when our inner thoughts are revealed clearly in our faces and words.’

Enthusiasm and showing an unparalleled determination to achieve anything you set your mind to while remaining conscientious and considerate individual who is willing to help others in need.
Alex Fan – The Ridgeway Campus VCE Dux
Diligence, perseverance and integrity, these are what my parents have taught me throughout my life. While for me, being humble and respecting everyone else are both far more important.
