Wanless Family Aviation Scholarship
Ivanhoe Grammar School is currently seeking applications from interested students for the inaugural Wanless Family Aviation Scholarship.
This scholarship provides $6,000 for flight training with an accredited training course provider and is open to Australian citizens who must be aged at least 16 by the time that the scholarship commences. The successful applicant must utilise the scholarship within 12 months of being awarded the scholarship.
The scholarship will progress the successful candidate through to the General Flying Progress stage of the Private Pilot’s License and provide the opportunity to experience and learn about flying firsthand which could eventually lead to a career in the aviation industry.
Candidates will undergo an interview process with a possible flight review prior to announcing the successful candidate. It is important to remember that awarding of scholarships is merit-based and therefore is competitive.
