Australian Schools Volleyball Championships
The Australian Schools Volleyball Championships ran from Saturday 4 December to Friday 9 December.
It was a huge week for everyone competing at the championships. The Boys worked hard all week and developed as a team. Against tough opposition from QLD, NSW and SA they won four and lost four games to finish 10th in their field of 20 which is middle of the table. It was a great experience and good training for the 2nd half of the AGSV 1sts season at the start of next year.
The Girls Team did a wonderful job. They were able to win most of their games during the week and came 4th in their division of 16 teams.
A big congratulations to Emily Gallagher and Elly McInerney who were identified during the year and at the tournament and were invited to the U/17 Australian training camp this week.
