Aerobics Exhibition Night
The annual Aerobics Squad Exhibition Night was held on Monday 25 July in Buckley Hall. Over 80 parents, friends and family turned out on a wild, wet and wintry night to watch the squad from across the School run through their routines in front of a live audience.
Many of the squad have trained and performed for years but this is often the first time some squad members perform in front of a live audience before the Aeroskools competition in August.
This gives all members of the squad regardless of experience, the opportunity to fine tune skills and movements, uniform and presentation before fully qualified judges and to receive critical constructive feedback for improvement over the next two weeks before competitions.
Inhouse results for the night were:
1st Jayla Kiratlioglu, Jessica De Lesi & Stella Kiriakidis
2nd Isobel wake and Mia Simpson – Level 4 Intermediate Pair
3rd Jamie Ikonomidis and Sarah MacLeod – Level 5 Intermediate Pair
Most improved – Alana Edgley, Charlotte Turner & Ifienya Siakou
Best Smile – Haleena Nyugen, Natalie Petrongolo & Maddy Gallagher
Best Compulsory Moves – Anika Khanna & Isabella Italiano
Neatest team – Brigid Watson, Charly Rouch, Georgia Hill, Isabelle Toronis, Isobel Wake, Jamie Iknonomidis, Mia Simpson, Peyton Engleby and Sarah Macleod.
Many of the girls have been selected to represent Victoria in the club competition which is a fantastic result.
