Ivanhoe alumnus kicking goals in the USA
Class of 2014 alumnus Fede Frew was awarded a scholarship last year to study and play Soccer at The American International College in Massachusetts, USA. She has certainly made her mark on the field as a star midfielder for the Yellow Jackets Soccer team.
On 3 October Fede potted the Golden Goal in the 99th minute to lead American International College past Merrimack College, 2-1. For the second time in less than a week she was at it again, scoring the match-winning goal in overtime as American International College defeated Southern Connecticut State, 1-0.
In 2014 Fede was Captain of both the School team and the AGSV team. During her time at Ivanhoe, she played a total of 42 games and scored 62 goals, making her one of the most successful players in the history of the team.
Fede will be at The American International College for four years where she will be studying Communications as well as playing in the Yellow Jackets soccer team.
