Principal presented award for service to education

On Friday 11 September, our Principal, Mr Roderick Fraser AM, attended an Investiture Ceremony at Government House, Melbourne. Her Excellency the Honourable Linda Dessau AM, Governor of Victoria, presented Mr Fraser with a medal signifying his Award as a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia.
Mr Fraser’s Award was announced in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in June 2015 “for significant service to secondary education, to national and international learning development organisations, and to the community”.
Mr Fraser is honoured to receive the Award and in accepting it, acknowledges the support of many people during his time at Ivanhoe Grammar School and through his involvement with the Round Square International Network of Schools.
