Netball Girls take out back to back Premierships
In what turned out to be a replica of last season, the Netball girls took out the AGSV/APS Netball Premiership despite going down to Wesley in the last game of the season. The girls finished 1 point clear of Assumption College and Geelong Grammar.
At the end of the match, Tiffany Carr (Captain) and Olivia Gigli (Vice-Captain) were presented with the Premiership Cup and both girls spoke enthusiastically about the efforts of the team, the guidance of their coach (Julie Hibberd) and the support of the School.
The team consisted of two Year 12 students (Tiffany Carr and Olivia Calleri), three Year 11 students (Olivia Gigli, Eloise Whitcroft and Isabella Hines), two Year 10 students (Georgia Harper, Tahnysha Siania Salanoa) and one Year 9 student (Lauren Pentony).
Well done girls….and well done to our Head Coach, Julie Hibberd.
