The Ridgeway Club April Meeting
The Ridgeway Club enjoyed their April lunch meeting at Jorg restaurant in North Carlton. Head of Plenty Campus, Deborah Sukarna, entertained the 26 guests with her updates on continuing academic, co-curricular and physical developments at the Plenty Campus. The Ridgeway Club President James Norman and Vice-President Grant Nichol welcomed families from the Plenty Campus as well as past students from the 1970’s and 1980’s as guests.
The Ridgeway Club was formed in 1989 as a group which assisted the Principal in completing projects that wouldn’t normally attract School funding. The group’s most recent project has been funding the creation and installation of the Centenary Heritage Trail at The Ridgeway Campus. The Heritage Trail celebrates the story behind a number of significant historical areas around the School.
The next meeting of the group will be a preview tour of the Melbourne wholesale fruit, vegetable and flower market on Friday 19 June at Epping, prior to the official opening in August.
