Rugby jersey presentation evening
On Tuesday 21 April, the First XV, U15’s and U13’s Rugby teams were presented with their player jerseys for the upcoming winter sports season. First XV captain Cameron Merjan and vice-captain Jack Middleton introduced all the players in a ceremony attended by family members and Ivanhoe Grammar School coaching staff.
Special guests Pat Leafa and Keita Inagaki from the Melbourne Rabodirect Rebels Super 15 team were in attendance to present jerseys to the First XV team. The special guests also participated in a Q&A with the players and audience members. Their professionalism and humility in their responses was outstanding and an inspiration to the younger Ivanhoe players in attendance.
Special thanks to the Friends of Rugby team for their hard work planning the event. We wish the Rugby teams all the best for the upcoming 2015 season.
