Equestrian – Interschool Dressage
On Sunday 15 March, Ivanhoe Grammar School hosted a very successful Interschool Dressage Competition, with over 60 competitors from 20 schools throughout Victoria. The event was held at the Yarrambat Pony Club Grounds in Yan Yean Road.
Ivanhoe Grammar School was represented by Hannah Bathen, Tia Brullo, Jessica Grant, Clancy Grant, Emma Kerr, Amy Cornell, Brigitte Theuma, Jorjia Adams and April Bozinis. Isobel Pain, Lily Dobson and Micky Bray also attended to help on the day. All riders competed well with Brigitte Theuma winning the Novice Championship, Jorjia Adams placing third in the Medium section, Clancy Grant placing fifth in the Novice section, Jessica Grant placing fourth and Hannah Bathen placing fifth in the Preliminary section. Overall, the Ivanhoe team placed second in the team championships behind Braemar College.
