Welcome Mrs Voula Arnas
After eight Years of outstanding service and leadership as the Head of Middle Years, Stella Batsanis has moved into the role of Director of Wellbeing commencing in 2015. Mrs Voula Arnas has been appointed as Head of Middle Years at The Ridgeway Campus.
Mrs Voula Arnas was recently the Head of Middle Years at Aquinas College overseeing 900 students from Years 7 to 9 and leading a team of five Year Level Coordinators and 36 Homeroom teachers. Voula worked closely with the Student support Services Team and teaches both English and Drama.
Voula was educated at Vaucluse College and completed a Bachelor of Performing Arts and Graduate Diploma of Education at Monash University. She completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Special Education, specifically exploring literacy interventions and finally a Masters of Education (Leadership, Policy and Change).
Voula is passionate about teaching Drama and English and has taught across all year levels from 7 to 12. Her drive for creativity in the classroom and love of educating students in the Middle Years focused her specialisation to these year levels in recent years.
Voula is especially interested in contemporary learning models and continuous school improvement. She has extensive experience in specialised programs and coordinating student support services to enhance the wellbeing of Middle Years students.
