Ivanhoe alumnus selected for prestigious Melbourne art exhibition
Jett Janetzki completed his studies at Ivanhoe Grammar School in 2014 and excelled at Visual Communication and Design. The Randal Marsh Award winning student has been selected to showcase his work at the prestigious Top Designs exhibition at the Melbourne Museum. The annual exhibition presents work created by students who completed VCE Media, Product Design and Technology, Food and Technology, Systems Engineering, Visual Communication and Design or Interactive Digital Media. Works are accompanied by folios and design plans comprising work briefs, client feedback and evaluation.
Jett said that he was excited about having his work on display at such a prestigious exhibition, particularly considering the difficult selection process. The Top Designs exhibition will be open from Saturday 21 March to Sunday 12 July 2015 at Melbourne Museum, Carlton.
With a knowledge base embedded in the theory and practice in the visual arts, subject offerings include drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, visual communication and design, digital media and art appreciation. The learning focus at Ivanhoe Grammar School is designed to encourage divergent thinking, risk taking and creative problem solving leading to developing and defining a personal style.
