School Carol Service
To celebrate the end of the year and the start of the Christmas season, each campus held a family Christmas carols service for students, parents and staff in the final weeks of Term 4. These events were wonderful opportunities for the entire School community to come together and celebrate another great year at Ivanhoe.
The first service to take place was the Buckley House Carol Service and Family Picnic on Friday 28 November and the weather could not have been more perfect. The Ridgeway Campus hosted the next Carol Service on Wednesday 3 December and Plenty Campus hosted the Family Christmas Carols on Thursday 4 December.
Traditional carols such as ‘joy to the world’, ‘silent night’ and ‘oh come all ye faithful’ were performed and crowd favourites such as ‘we wish you a merry Christmas’ and ‘Santa Claus is coming to town’ enabled the audience to be involved and sing along.
Thanks to the staff and students who worked hard to prepare for the events and to the parent groups who contributed to their success.
