Cadet Promotions 2014
The Cadet Unit held the annual Promotions Course from Saturday 19 July to Tuesday 22 July at the Lord Somers Camp. Record numbers attended the Course, with 129 students on the Corporal's course, 78 on the Sergeant's Course and 47 on the CUO/WO Course, giving a total of 254.
Students and staff worked hard throughout the four days to complete lessons and assessments in order to fulfil the requirements of promotion within the Unit. Lessons and assessments included drill, theory, first aid, navigation and leadership.

The course concluded with a spectacular Graduation parade, which included a flag party, buglers and drummers. The CUO/WO courses were presented with their badges of rank by Acting Principal, Mr Gerard Foley, and the Senior Leadership teams from both campuses were announced. Students of merit were awarded to Nickolas Johnson from the CUO Course, Caitlin Dagher from the Sergeant's course and Kosta Giaprakis and Joshua Chieng from the Corporal's course.
Congratulations to all students who successfully passed their courses, and we look forward to the new Cadet year, starting in the next few weeks.
