Plenty A Capella Choir
The Plenty A Capella Choir will be guest performers at Vocal Australia's AUS-ACA National A Cappella Championships.
It's a great honour for the A Capella group to have been asked to perform this Friday, 16 May at Deakin Edge in Federation Square. A late wild card invitation to perform this Friday night has had the choir busily rehearsing for the big event. The extremely talented cohort of young women have been given an incredible opportunity to perform a 10 minute set amongst the competing university schools, after successfully qualifying for the National A Capella Awards Final in September!
The event has been put on by Vocal Australia and is bringing the first ever national A Cappella championship to Australia.
The AUS-ACA will be judged by some of the best international A Cappella stars in the business. Austin Willacy from House of Jacks, Hannah Juliano of Deliah Musae and Nicholas Girard founder of Overboard will preside over the singing competition. All three of these celebrity judges have been part of NBC’s 100% A Cappella reality competition, The Sing Off.
The Plenty A Capella choir has ten female members and nine of these will be performing this Friday night. Wishing Payel, Rose, Laney, Hannah, Rachel, Celia, Charlotte, Casey and Jezebel the best of luck for this fantastic event.
