Portsea Rugby Camp
Thirty four students attended the annual rugby camp from Friday 28 – Sunday 30 March. The annual rugby camp is a highlight of the sporting calendar. The weekend was a huge success, bringing together players from all year levels and age groups.
Students were challenged physically and mentally and with the support of their team mates around them they kept pushing forward to overcome the challenges that were put in front of them.
The bonding aspect of the camp allowed students to form tight-knit relationships not only with their own team mates, but with students from older and younger years who will serve as mentors into the future.
The camp will undoubtedly lead to significant personal development for players both on and off the field and set the foundations for a great season ahead. The weekend away would not have been possible without the dedication of Mr Sava Djukic as well as all the coaches and staff involved who have supported the rugby community by donating their time and efforts.
