Top Class
Theatre students from Ivanhoe have been selected for the VCE Season of Excellence based on their outstanding monologue programs from the end of 2023 in Theatre Studies.
Alumni Tansy Elliott, Jasper Pascoe, Max Nania and Ash Syers have been selected to present work programming the best across Victoria.
On Friday 19 April and Monday 22 April, these alumni will polish up their monologues and design programs for presentation. Tansy, Jasper and Max at the Melbourne Recital Centre and Ash’s work will appear at Melbourne Museum (on March 22).
Tansy will be performing their 2023 Theatre Studies Acting and Direction solo The Two Noble Kinsmen – Jailer’s Daughter on Friday 19 April at 2:00pm. As part of the same program, Max will be performing their 2023 Theatre Studies Acting and Direction solo Antigone – Chorus. Then on Monday 22 April at 10:00am Jasper will be performing their 2023 Theatre Studies Acting and Direction solo R.U.R. – Alquist on.
This is a significant achievement for these outstanding young people who keep the flame burning for Ivanhoe Grammar School students who have frequently been chosen for Top Acts/Top Class. A top act indeed.
