Snowsports Update
What a weekend! It’s the busiest & biggest weekend on our Snowsports calendar with Time Trials, Lessons and Cross Country Interschools keeping us all on our toes.
On Saturday morning, we started with our Ivanhoe cohort heading up to the racecourse on Skyline for our annual Time Trials Event. Our students rallied around each other and enjoyed the opportunity to have a taste of what racing conditions would be like in a relaxed environment led by our Snowsports Leaders Eliza & Asher. Although the weather wasn’t overly favourable it was a great morning giving the students confidence & skills in racing. The afternoon saw us back at it again with lessons and/or some free ski time enjoying some fresh snow.
Sunday morning started with the final day of our group lesson getting underway and the start of Victorian Interschools Competitions with our Cross Country team competing in perfect conditions. Well done to Eliza, Seb, Kieran, Thomas, Arno & Lucy who all competed in the Cross Country team, many of them first-timers, you should all be very proud of their achievements at the Cross Country Interschools.

(These students will have the opportunity to go onto Nationals in September.)
Overall, Ivanhoe Grammar School came in 4th position at the Cross Country Interschools event.
